2 years agoAnybody have Zemeta IV fusions?
Accepted Answer
Finding others who have experience with specific treatments can be really helpful when navigating breast cancer care. Hopefully some community members who have received Zometa infusions will see this and be able to share their experiences with you - connecting with others who understand what you're going through can provide valuable support and insights.

7 months agoYes, I have them yearly—about to have my second one. I had bilateral lumpectomies & then radiation in spring & summer 2022. I’m on Anastrozole & have had osteopenia before my BC diagnosis. I had no problems with the Zometa infusion.

7 months agoI has flu-like symptoms too after the first 3 of 6 Zometa infusions. After finally telling my oncologist, he allowed down the drip to 1 hr vs. 15 mins and had me take N Allegra before the infusion and then dir 2-3 days after, if needed. Worked like a charm and no more side effects!
