Does Anyone Have Zemeta IV Fusions?

Yes, I have them yearly—about to have my second one. I had bilateral lumpectomies & then radiation in spring & summer 2022. I’m on Anastrozole & have had osteopenia before my BC diagnosis. I had no problems with the Zometa infusion.

Yes I’ve had 1. Supposed to be getting them every 6 months. The day after I hurt all over. E I had the flu. It only lasted that day.

I has flu-like symptoms too after the first 3 of 6 Zometa infusions. After finally telling my oncologist, he allowed down the drip to 1 hr vs. 15 mins and had me take N Allegra before the infusion and then dir 2-3 days after, if needed. Worked like a charm and no more side effects!
