Itchy skin: I don’t know if it’s the heat or if I had a reaction to a lotion or if it’s a chemo reaction, but I feel itchy all over today. I have had issues with dryness and itchiness ‘down there in my lady parts’ but today it seems like I’m itching a little bit all over. What sorts of lotions do you use? Has anyone had itching in their lady parts and what do you use? Looking for some relief and recommendations.

Itchy skin during cancer treatment is a common challenge that many patients experience, and it can be caused by various factors including chemotherapy side effects, dry skin, or product sensitivities. Many community members have found relief using gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers specifically designed for sensitive skin, and some have shared success with products containing ingredients like ceramides or colloidal oatmeal. It's worth discussing these symptoms with your healthcare team, as they may be able to recommend specific products or treatments that are safe to use during your treatment.

Coconut oil has been extremely helpful and can be put on your private areas as well.

Thank you. I did finally discover that last night and it has helped quite a bit. I jokingly said to my husband ‘sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don’t!’ Couldn’t be more true right about now. The coconut oil is such an inexpensive alternative as well. Feminine moisturizers and lubricants are so expensive.
