3 years agoMy nails on Verzenio are so thin and gross. Is it safe to take collagen?
Accepted Answer
This is such a common concern for those dealing with treatment side effects. It's definitely worth discussing collagen supplements with your oncology team, as they'll know best how it might interact with your specific treatment plan. Many people in the community have found different approaches to help with nail health during treatment, so hopefully others will share what has worked for them too.

7 months agoI think your oncologist should be able to tell you that. They should really know everything you're taking, even OTC in case there are interactions. I am able to send messages to my team via the hospital portal and they get back to me really fast! I got the ok to take biotin.
