a year agoI just picked up my therapy pills to start taking tomorrow. Arimidex, the generic is Anastrozole. Wow, I didn't know it could cause dizziness. I work from home and was going to start taking this in the am, now I'm thinking at bedtime. Pharmacist said to just be consistent. There are other awful side effects! I get it. It has to be done, I'm just not sure if this will be the right one for me.

Starting a new hormone therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when reading about potential side effects. Many patients find it helpful to discuss timing strategies with their healthcare team and to remember that not everyone experiences all listed side effects. The community here has valuable experiences to share about managing treatment, so connecting with others who've been on similar medications might provide useful insights and reassurance.

6 months agoI've been taking Anastrozole for three months. I take it at night with Claritin. I've had very few side affects.

6 months agoI’m on week two of that, and I didn’t know it caused dizzy spells. Saturday afternoon I had a severe one. I almost passed out. Interesting, but that’s the only negative effect. If that’s what it was from that I’ve had since I started it.

6 months agoMy friend started this a year and a half ago. She took it during the day when started was not receiving it well and so started taking it at bedtime with Turk and triple joint pain and has said no issues and that’s exactly what I do, and had no issues either, well except the dizzy, but no pain or discomfort

6 months agoI have so much leg pain. I am taking in the morning, maybe changing will help. I see doc on Tuesday-hoping for some sort of relief.
