Does SBRT for prostate cancer cause severe urinary problems?

I decided to start SBRT radiation on My Prostate because of my home caring and prepping my body for 2-3 hours prior wouldn't work for 37 sessions. I decreased my session from 37 to 5 sessions. Paying the price, " sunburned" bladder, creating severe urinary urges, but I feel the shortened sessions was worth it in the long run. Last session was late July. Anybody that can share their SBRT experience, appreciate it

SBRT can indeed cause temporary urinary side effects like increased urgency and bladder irritation, which many patients experience as part of the healing process. The community would benefit from hearing more experiences with SBRT recovery timelines and management strategies - sharing these real-world insights helps others make informed decisions about their treatment options.

That's so true - SBRT side effects are definitely part of the process, and it might also help to ask about how long others found it took for those urinary symptoms to start improving after their last session.
