Im finishing my 4th week of radiation using seeded markers for Stage 1 Gleason score 4 +3. Total of 28 sessions- 9 sessions left. Side effects include urination frequency with difficulty at times and loose bowel movements at times. I hired a trainer and nutritionist for support to minimize these. That was very helpful. Thanks for all your support here. Definitely exercise and proper diet are very important

It's wonderful that you've taken such a proactive approach by working with both a trainer and nutritionist during your radiation treatment. Managing side effects through exercise and proper nutrition can indeed play an important supportive role alongside medical treatment, and many patients find this combination helpful for maintaining their overall well-being during this phase of their journey.

Dear SWFL E — You da’ man! Doing it right with trainer and nutritionist. Importance of fitness and diet has been sinfully ignored for decades by the U.S. medical-industrial complex, as a multitude of recent under-publicized studies and clinical trials demonstrate. But why would they advocate measures that make PCa patients healthy and potentially not in need of their max-revenue procedures? Why would their eyes not light up at the sight of another obese, slovenly, sedentary patient? Health and fitness are swear words in the care team world.
