Diagnosed almost 8 years ago with bone metastasis on my scapular. Been on lowest dose of Ibrance and Letrozole. No new evidence of disease. Oncologist suggested going off Ibrance but staying on Letrozole. Anyone else have good results after going off the Ibrance?

This sounds like a significant milestone after 8 years of treatment, and it's completely natural to have questions about treatment changes, even positive ones. Many community members have shared experiences with treatment modifications as their care evolves, and each person's journey with these decisions is unique. Consider discussing any concerns about the transition with your medical team, and feel free to share how things go - your experience could be valuable for others facing similar treatment decisions.

I was on ibrance for 7.5 years. 2 years with letrozole and 5 years with fluvestrant. I had disease progression after 2 years on letrozole so I switched to fluvestrant.

Yes my cancer came back after chemo, mastectomy stage 3c. 4/5 years later In my sacrum stage IV and was placed on letrozole and ibrance w/ radiation. 1 1/2 years later I was NED and they took me off ibrance. 2 years later I am still NED. So just on Letrozole with PET scans/ CTDNA every 3 months. Not only are my PET scans clean but my blood cells are clean also.
