I’ve been on Xeloda for about a year and feel like I might be experiencing tendon or muscle tightness…esp in my legs and hips. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Muscle and tendon tightness can be a challenging side effect that some people experience with certain cancer treatments. This type of discomfort, especially in the legs and hips, is worth discussing with your healthcare team since they can help determine if it's related to your treatment and suggest ways to manage it. Many others in this community may have similar experiences to share, so hopefully you'll get some helpful insights from fellow members who understand what you're going through.

I've been on it about 4 months. I have had leg cramps. I've also have had diarrhea during my off week every off week. Mouth sores and hand/foot syndrome. Itchy bumps on my fingers. Also, my CA27/29 keeps going up. I have a PTEN mutation and I think I should change to the med that treats it. I can't remember the name of it. Have you had any other side effects?

Hand-foot issues with peeling, but otherwise, I have tolerated it well.

Try taking magnesium for the muscle pain.
