7 months agoI took it for about 10 months until it no longer worked. Your feet and hands may peel. Use flexitol hand balm and heel balm (Amazon) and that takes care of that. I did lose about 4 toenails. They came back but a few are wonky. My hair grew and I didn’t have fatigue, which was a blessing.

6 months agoI recently started Xeloda; I'm on my 3rd week of one week on, and one week off. 1st week on I didn't experience much except some fatigue. My week off was worse; body aches, extreme fatigue, constipation. Today, I'm starting my 2nd week on meds. Side question, I had a bilateral mastectomy and six weeks of radiation just about a year ago. This past weekend I used a rolling message bar and gently rolled it over the area 3 times. Since then I have been in extreme pain, so much so that they did an x-ray to see if I fractured a rib. Thankful no fracture. But has anyone experienced anything like this? I feel like it may have popped a fat pocket or something.

6 months agoI’m still on this - first line treatment. I went straight to this as I had a lots of mets we needed to get control of quickly. I’ve been on it nearly 8 years now. Finding the lowest effective dose is key - I live very well on it.
