Anyone else taking Truqap? Experiences and side effects?

Truqap (capivasertib) is a newer targeted therapy, so it's understandable to want to connect with others who have experience with it. Sharing experiences about side effects and how to manage them can be really valuable for the community. Hopefully others who are taking or have taken Truqap will share their insights to help support you on this journey.

Do you have any side effects? I will start next week twice day low dose

O have diarrhea when taken with Kisquali. My bloodwork shows a lot of dehydration.

I think I started it in March, but I had diarrhea and dehydration so bad I ended up in the hospital for 10 days . So we temporarily stopped Truqap. It was working on my liver lesions, they were shrinking. A week later I got COVID and stayed in the hospital for 16 days. That was 1 week ago. I see my oncologist on Friday, but I am sure she will want me stronger before we restart at a lower dose.

Diarrhea and dehydration also. I have had 1 fluid treatment and take antdiarrhea meds. I have learned to manage it

Imodium wasn't working, but Lomitil did.
