a month agoI have HR-positive, HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer and I'm currently on first-line treatment with fulvestrant alone. I recently learned about CDK4/6 inhibitors like palbociclib, ribociclib, and abemaciclib being combined with hormone therapy for my type of cancer. My oncologist and I may discuss these combinations for future treatment options if my current therapy needs adjustment. a month agoI My first line of treatment was Kisquali and fluvestrant and I had good results shrinking. The tumor in my breast and dissolving most of my lung nodules.

a month agoI have the same type of breast cancer and mine is Grade 3. I think this combination is a good way to begin. And see results. Talk to your doctor.

a month agoI have mBC with bone and lymph nodes. I took lbrance with fluvestrant for 7 1/2 years as my 1st line of therapy. The only side effect was constipation with explosive diarrhea. Taking stool softener and extra water took care of it. Then, my cancer developed a cancer mutation PTEN/AKT. Truqap with fluvestrant started working, but the diarrhea was bad so I stopped. I'll restart soon at a lower dose and hope I'll respond better. I'm now a 10 1/2 year survivor. Praying you will have many years of disease free progression.

15 days agoYes there is hope and dealing with a good oncology team that makes you feel hopeful and supported means everything. Hang in there. We are here for you. People in this community have me hope in 2024 when I got my MBC diagnosis. They still help me when I am anxious and depressed. Lean on us we are here for you. Prayers and hugs coming to you from us
