There is always hope, and having questions and concerns while waiting for results is completely understandable. Many people in this community have faced similar uncertainty about their diagnoses and have found strength in connecting with others who understand what they're going through. While waiting for medical answers can feel overwhelming, this supportive community is here to help you process these difficult emotions and experiences. Consider sharing more about how you're coping day-to-day - others here may have helpful perspectives on managing anxiety during this challenging time.

Sandra D — I know how it feels to be knocked down after every time you’ve gotten up, to the point that I almost fear any sign of progress, because right behind is a sign of regress. But here’s how I’ve found hope: I look back at my now-three years since diagnosis, and see that I’ve slowly learned coping skills that I wouldn’t have thought capable of. In a word, I’m resilient. When you’re forced to stare at the face of death, everything less than death seems possible to overcome. And so far—to my own self-surprise—I have overcome. And that, I assure you, is the wellspring of hope.
