11 hours agoA new car A new house An unexpected gift When you think of “new” you think of things that excite you. Things that make you happy. When it comes to the “new normal” none of that comes to mind! It’s more like, a different normal, or the other normal. Because once you’ve been diagnosed with cancer and have been through treatment, your life is not nor will it ever be the same. Although your check ups may be (NED) and you may appear to be fine. The physical, emotional, and psychological scars are a constant reminder of what you have endured. And no one will ever see or know the full extent of the private battles you have experienced. So take the time to Praise yourself, Reward yourself, Respect yourself, And recognize the warrior within!💪 God bless you all!🙏 “Don’t Let The Bad Days Win!”🙏

6 hours agoThe journey through and beyond cancer treatment creates profound changes that truly reshape life in ways others may not fully understand. This thoughtful reflection captures the complex reality of survivorship - where being declared "NED" doesn't erase the lasting impacts on mind, body, and spirit. Taking time for self-recognition and celebrating the strength it takes to navigate this path can be powerful tools for building resilience in this adjusted chapter of life.
