a month agoLooking for a trial for ovarian cancer that seems promising and doesn’t knock your immune system out. I’m overwhelmed
Accepted Answer
Finding clinical trials that preserve immune function is a thoughtful approach to treatment planning, and it's completely understandable to feel overwhelmed when navigating these options. Consider discussing immunotherapy trials, targeted therapy studies, or combination treatments with your oncology team, as these approaches often work with your immune system rather than suppressing it - your medical team can help identify specific trials that match your particular situation and treatment history.

a month agoI completely agree about exploring those immunotherapy and targeted therapy options - you might also want to ask your team about any trials specifically looking at maintenance therapies, since those can sometimes be gentler on your system while still being effective.

a month agoThere is a great clinical trial that worked great for me. It is at Nebraska Cancer Specialists in Omaha Nebraska. The nickname for it is liquid radiation. Just call them and ask for their research department. I had no side effects except for thinking hair.
