2 months agoHi, does anyone here have granulosa cell tumor? I'm stage 3, six+ years since initial diagnosis. Also dx with bilateral breast cancer about two months later, both invasive and DCIS. I did six rounds of Carboplatin/Taxol after two surgeries, then had my mastectomy surgery about six weeks after finishing the chemo. I continued with Herceptin for the breast cancer. Nine months total for that until it began to do cardiac damage. Recently confirmed to be in recurrence after three years of rising markers.

Finding others who share the experience of having both granulosa cell tumor and breast cancer can provide valuable connection and insight. This combination of diagnoses, along with navigating treatment challenges and recurrence, creates a unique journey that others in similar situations may relate to. Sharing experiences here might help connect with community members who have faced comparable paths and can offer support through their own stories.

a month agoI had a granulosa cell tumor on my left ovary. It was 9 pounds and some ounces, about the size of a nerf football. I also had a tumor, baseball sized, on top of that. They removed it and I had a full hysterectomy. I'm cancer free, but stage 1A and under observation. I will say a prayer for you. I know it's hard. Prayers for comfort.
