14 days agoI am having a EUC biopsy tomorrow. I have a large mass in the body of my pancreas with sky high CA 19-9 antigen- liver enzymes normal. My biggest issue now is the pain. What are some good regimens to manage the pain- I am using Tylenol and Tramadol- 3-4 tablets per day. I find that it does not control the pain and if I had better control I may feel better. Any suggestions?

14 days agoPain management is such an important part of care, and it sounds like finding better relief would make a real difference in how you're feeling overall. Many patients find that discussing stronger pain management options with their oncology team can be helpful, as there are often additional medications or approaches that can provide better control than what you're currently using. The medical team will want to work with you to find a regimen that actually manages your pain effectively, so don't hesitate to be very clear about your current pain levels and how the current medications aren't providing adequate relief.

10 days agoMy husband stopped the Tylenol and tramadol because it caused his bile duct to get blocked which caused his liver numbers to go sky high and got a very high number in his bilirubin. He ended up having a procedure to insert a stent in his bile duct. Now on oxy and it’s working much better
