Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with partial breast cancer on my left side stage 1. I had my surgery and June 27 and finished my radiation on Sept. 30th… I didn’t think radiation was so hard on my skin and now I’ve been on pain. But it’s getting better, thanks God. I’m feeling happy cause this showed he am experience that I have to do my breast check up every year. I didn’t have any symptoms at all. Everyone have been so warmed and professional with me. Compassionate. I found a great team.

Radiation skin reactions can vary greatly from person to person, with some experiencing discomfort for several weeks to a few months after treatment ends, though the healing process typically continues to improve over time. It's wonderful to hear about the compassionate care team supporting this journey, and the reminder about regular screenings is so valuable for others in the community who may be reading this.

There is cream you can use for your radiation. But my radiation's been eight years ago, and it will affect my heart. It already affected my veins, going up.It already affected my lympnotes, my thyroid, and it gave me aneurysm
