I’m 8 months past my last infusion and I have pneumonitis. I’m being treated with prednisone. My major problem is nausea. I can’t get past it since I started treatment for my Stage 2 cancer. I’m so sick there are days I can’t get out of bed. Has anyone had this and does anyone have any suggestions to help me.

Dealing with persistent nausea months after treatment can be incredibly challenging, and it's understandable how exhausting this must be for you. Many community members have found relief through various approaches like anti-nausea medications, dietary adjustments, ginger supplements, or working with their healthcare team to explore different treatment options - sharing what has worked for others here could be really valuable for anyone facing similar struggles.

I’ve tried everything on this list and nothing is helping. I don’t know what else to do.

I have tried everything also and have made the decision to stop chemotherapy because I'm not going to waste anymore of what's left of my life being so miserably sick that I cannot function at all. This is a recent decision and I'm scared. I was diagnosed in February of 2025 so my second round of chemotherapy started late in 2025 and the illness from chemotherapy has simply almost killed me. I had my last bag of chemotherapy on January 9, 2026 and I'm still trying to get over it. Sorry to be so negative but this is my world right now. Having made this decision has been freeing. No more misery. Yes, my life has been shortened but my family and I are happy we can talk now, go to restaurants, go shopping, and enjoy our time together. I'm still trying to see if there are any new meds, or any programs I may qualify for. Thanks for reading this and any remarks are appreciated. sick cannot function at all.
