I am opting for a bilateral mastectomy. Any advice for saline vs silicone implants? I can’t believe how many decisions we need to make! So overwhelming

Making decisions about reconstruction after bilateral mastectomy can feel overwhelming, and it's completely understandable to feel that way with so many choices to consider. Both saline and silicone implants have their own benefits and considerations - factors like feel, appearance, maintenance requirements, and personal preferences all play a role in what might work best for each person's situation. Connecting with others in this community who have been through similar decisions, along with discussing the options thoroughly with your surgical team, can help provide the insights needed to make the choice that feels right for you.
