Just started losing my hair today. How long does it take until it’s all gone?

Hair loss from cancer treatment typically happens gradually over 2-4 weeks, though the timeline can vary from person to person depending on the specific treatment. This is understandably a difficult milestone, and many community members have shared that connecting with others who've been through similar experiences can provide comfort and practical tips during this time.

I didn't wait for it to fall out. I cut my long hair short before chemo began and then at first signs of it falling out I had my hairdresser shave it off. I wasn't interested in watching it fall out.
