Does lymphedema PT after neck dissection really work?

Wish this had a search function to avoid repetitive questions. I’ve been ordered lymphedema PT 2x per week for 8 weeks beginning 9/22 following neck dissection 7 months ago. Has anyone had a satisfactory outcome to reduce swelling, stiffness, numbness or soreness?
