It's completely understandable to feel anxious about a biopsy - many people share that same feeling before their first one. While the procedure itself is typically quick and manageable, knowing what to expect can help ease some worry: most biopsies involve numbing the area first, and the actual tissue collection usually takes just a few minutes, though recovery time can vary depending on the type and location. Feel free to ask your medical team any specific questions about your procedure, as they can walk you through exactly what will happen and help you feel more prepared.

Hi. I’m new here, my name is Dalia S. I had my biopsy in 01/20/26 and both of my breast were done at the same time. It really didn’t hurt. A few days after it was a little sore but not to bad. I am just starting my journey as well.
