One of my friends had hipec surgery for a type of colon cancer. She is doing well. She is 1.5 years survivorship. She does have some residual pain that might be scar tissue.

I had my surgery Friday. I have been recovering well and could get out of the hospital tomorrow or Thursday

That's great news. Make sure you get the best nutrition in that you can. Walk, deep breathing exercises for your lungs . Get quality sleep if possible and keep as much stress out of your life as possible. Blessings to you.

I pray you do well. Make sure you are getting plenty of protein now so you heal better. Don't be afraid to move afterwards. Stay away from stress as much as possible. I pray you have doctors and nurses who try care and give you good instructions. Think about complementary things to help you afterwards...acupuncture, protein drinks, walking, physical therapy especially oncology physical therapist, chair yoga, massage .....praying for you.
