Unusual Marks on Breast Reduction Incision: Should I Be Concerned?

Does anyone have these stretch mark looking spots on their anchor incision the part that goes from their nipple to the incision under their breasts? The stretch mark looking stripes go across that incision. My plastic surgeon left tissue bunched up on those areas and therefore, my incision skin edges were not touching or flat which created bunched up scar tissue and now it looks like stretch marks. I had perfect breast skin before. I also have minimal scars from any other surgery

It's completely understandable to have concerns about changes in your incision site, especially when the healing hasn't gone as smoothly as expected. Many people experience unexpected variations in how their surgical sites heal, and what you're describing with the tissue bunching and resulting appearance sounds frustrating. Consider reaching out to your plastic surgeon to discuss these concerns - they can evaluate whether this is part of normal healing or if there are options to address the scarring you're experiencing.
