I had a very disappointing reconstruction following a lat dorsi reconstruction in 2012. I never did complete the reconstruction after the initial lat dorsi surgery. So my left is larger that the right. Are there any new ways to redo a previous lat dorsi reconstruction? I heard of a center in New Orleans that is supposed to be top notch. Any suggestions?

I had fat transfer from my thighs to correct my autologous reconstruction. It did make my breasts to be more equal in size.

My plastic surgeon who is unfortunately retired now was top notch! He also recommended the place in New Orleans! If you can swing it, that is what i would do!

My surgeons are now recommending me to have a lat dorsi flap because of a reoccurrence after mastectomy. Do you mind if I ask why the out come of your lat dorsi surgery was so poor? My breasts are beautiful and symmetric right now after a single mastectomy and saline implant and I’m so scared of this new outcome :( I’m only 39
