a year agoI had a bilateral mastectomy in January for stage 1 TNBC and started chemo March 1. I have three weeks left and then am supposed to start radiation. I’ve been feeling really good, minimal side effects from the chemo. But I found a lump in my armpit so Dr sent me for an ultrasound. The radiologist was concerned and now I have a biopsy set for tomorrow. I’m really anxious. Has this happened to anyone else?

Finding a new lump during treatment can feel incredibly scary, and it's completely natural to feel anxious before your biopsy. Many people in the triple-negative breast cancer community have shared similar experiences with new lumps appearing during or after treatment, and there can be various explanations including changes from surgery, treatment effects, or lymph node responses. Sending positive thoughts for your biopsy results, and please know this community is here to support you through whatever comes next.
