7 days agoI also have triple negative breast cancer. Have had surgery, both breast removed. Found out that I have a 45% chance of it coming back. Going to be on a drug, Capecitabine, has any one been on it?

7 days agoThis is such an important question, and connecting with others who have experience with Capecitabine can provide valuable insights about what to expect during treatment. Many community members have shared their experiences with various medications used for triple negative breast cancer, and their perspectives often help others feel more prepared and less alone in their treatment journey. Hopefully some members who have taken Capecitabine will share their experiences to help answer your question and provide the support that comes from connecting with others who truly understand.

6 days agoHi Dorothy , I was on it for 6 months after everything was done . It’s has a nasty side effect for ur hands and feet. They started me on 3000 mg daily and I just could be on that amount for 3 months pushing . My hands were so dry and painful I couldn’t made a fits . It was getting to a point that they were cracking open on the lines in the palms and finger joints . Oncologist decreased and everything got better . So keep moisturizing those hand and feet.
