a month agoDear pink sisters ,I wanted to know has anyone ever had the radiation seed therapy where they placed seed in area of breast cancer and it doesn't affect nearby tissue. Instead of external radiation therapy its brachytherapy .

Radiation seed therapy, also known as brachytherapy, is indeed a treatment option that some patients explore for breast cancer, and it's great that you're researching different approaches. Connecting with others who have experience with this specific therapy could provide valuable insights, so hopefully some community members will be able to share their experiences with you.

20 days agoMary, My radiation targeted the entire right breast and axillary areas. I had 15 total, a year after chemotherapy and surgeries. The only seed I had was one pre op that was inserted to target the cancer treated axillary node for surgical removal. My dad had brachy radiation to target a lung tumor years ago. Best wishes and prayers.
