Had my third out of six treatments on Monday. Feel great. Last nite could not make it to the bathroom on time. The urge to go was so strong and went on the floor. Feel so bad about myself.

Don't waste energy feeling bad. Pee happens! I have my 6th & final chemo treatment tomorrow, March 26. I have noticed an increase in urgency too. But I have been drinking lots of fluids. My nurses say the effects of chemotherapy are cumulative. Ask your doctor if it's bothering you. They will have helpful advice. ❤️ good luck

Bladder control issues during cancer treatment are more common than many people realize, and there's absolutely no need to feel bad about yourself. Many treatments can affect bladder function, and this side effect often improves over time or with adjustments to your care plan. It would be helpful to mention this to your healthcare team, as they may have practical suggestions or solutions to help manage this challenge during the remainder of your treatments.

You are not alone. Pelvis radiation was my culprit, but I’m thankful to be alive. I have worn pads occasionally.
