2 months agoPreparing thoughtful questions for a gynecology oncologist appointment can help ensure all concerns are addressed during this important consultation. Consider asking about staging procedures, treatment options, what the biopsy results mean for prognosis, and what support resources are available throughout the process. 2 months agoI did have some symptoms like cramping & bleeding. I hadn’t seen an OB since mine retired in mid 2023. I finally looked & found a new OB & saw her early June 2025. After a 2nd visit & a couple of ultrasounds… 1 external & 1 interior ( with no discernible, clear results, she did a biopsy on a Wednesday & I got my cancer diagnosis 2 days later. I also saw a GYN Oncologist… he was the closest to me & was almost 2 hours away. He was Great! A wonderful bedside manner & great staff. He performed a total hysterectomy, examined my lymph nodes & saw some cancer was in the nodes on each side of my pelvis. So Chemo came next for me. So, I’d ask if a biopsy should be performed, etc. There was a little bit longer of a delay after my hysterectomy & before Chemo was started than I liked. Since you haven’t had symptoms like I had, hopefully, if it is cancer, it’s in a very early stage. God Bless… Sending Prayers Your Way. 🫶🫶🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

a month agoI had no symptoms until one day when I went to the bathroom I saw a slight hint of color on my toilet paper. It was a one time thing there was never any other indication, but thankfully, I looked into it right away. Ended up having a total hysterectomy and told that that should take care of everything, but when the results came back, it turned out I had Serus carcinoma, which is a more aggressive and fast spreading microscopic type. I had six rounds of chemotherapy. I also get the signatera circulating tumor DNA test and it has been negative so far. I was lucky I caught it very early. My advice to everyone is look at your toilet paper!
