I have bladder cancer and am currently on BCG treatment. I just read about a new combination therapy called Padcev (enfortumab vedotin) plus Keytruda (pembrolizumab) that showed significant survival benefits for muscle-invasive bladder cancer patients. The treatment is given both before and after surgery and doesn't require platinum-based chemotherapy. While this might not apply to my current situation, it seems like an important advancement that could be relevant if treatment plans change in the future. I'd love to connect with others who have experience with muscle-invasive bladder cancer or these newer treatments. • Have any of you been treated with Padcev and Keytruda, and what was your experience like? • For those with muscle-invasive bladder cancer, what questions did you ask your care team about treatment options? Thank you for sharing this important information about the Padcev and Keytruda combination therapy - it's encouraging to see advances in bladder cancer treatment options. This research could indeed be valuable knowledge for the future, and asking about treatment experiences and questions to discuss with care teams are great ways to stay informed. The bladder cancer community here has members with various treatment experiences who may be able to share insights about these newer therapies or similar treatment journeys. Connecting with others who understand the complexities of bladder cancer treatment decisions can provide helpful perspectives as treatments continue to evolve.

I have MIBC and was treated with Padcev/Keytruda. The treatments reduced my tumor by 60% and I was able to have surgery to remove the bladder along with additional organs. I just began my maintenance treatments of Keytruda only for the next 12 months

Hi Ron I have 4th stage metastatic bladder cancer diagnosis was in September 2023. I had Chemo , immunotherapy and then EV (enfortumab vedotin ) only and about to start it again today after radiation therapy failed to happen due to some more spots appearing in the pet scan. It works well but has some side affects of rashes and neuropathy.

Ron, I’ve been living w/ metastatic disease (since 2016), had RC w/neobladder. Been on pembro (Keytruda) on and off over last nine years w/ great results and zero side effects. Treatment cycles go two years. My remissions also have lasted two years. I haven’t had EV (Padcev), but side effects are all but guaranteed (neuropathy, hair loss, etc). I’m currently NED, but if I relapse, we might add EV along with pembro.
