How bad are ipilimumab and nivolumab side effects?

Hi Michelle, I had my first treatment 8/5 and am going for third one on 9/2. I get ipi/nivo for the first and 4th treatments. Then just nivo for all six treatments. They are every two weeks. Only side effect I’ve had so far is a rash. So far so good. LMK how it’s going. I wish you all the best!

Michelle, I began receiving Ipilimumab & Nivolumab September 4th 2026 My treatments are every three weeks. Day one it was both meds. Three weeks latter it was only one of the two, which completed the first cycle. I have three more cycles to go. So far, I’ve experienced slight rash, mostly where they shaved me to install my power port. And I’m experiencing joint pain. Other than those issues, I feel great! They discovered that I have a rare gene that allows my immune system to recognize and attack cancer cells. So I dodged the chemotherapy bullet.
