2 months agoMy port was placed at the same time I had a lumpectomy. Never had a problem with it no pain never backed up on me. It has been very easy.

2 months agoThat’s the best way to get a port, when you’re already sedated for your surgery, very smart, thank you for sharing, Christine! I just had my port placed this morning. Everything went smoothly, I still am not hurting, but am taking acetaminophen to hopefully avoid any extreme pain. Keep fighting, sister!💕💕💕

a month agoYes had no issues at all. Had my 1st chemo about a week after the port placement. Make sure they always flush it before and after treatment

a month agoI had no issues . I had it put in a few days before chemo started and it’s painless I had it in for 14 months and it was removed in the office and I didn’t feel a thing

3 days agoI retired registered Nurse of 42 years. I have triple positive Breast Cancer I had placement in December on a Friday and had chemotherapy start on Monday. I’ve done well and by the end of December I hope to get my poured out. Just make sure everybody’s meticulous when they access your port.
