Treatment decisions for prostate cancer can feel overwhelming, especially when weighing different approaches like ADT, radiation, and surgery. Many community members share similar experiences navigating these choices with their medical teams, and connecting with others who understand this journey can provide valuable perspective and support during this time.

Surgery following radiation is impossible. Get a new oncologist.

Dave S. I may have misunderstood him. It might have been ADT then either radiation or surgery depending on the outcome of adt

I started with surgery, had a mild PSA return, so I started with ADT using Orgovyx and Appalutimide. I waited for 3 months then started salvage Proton radiation in Atlanta at Emory, and taking ADT now for 15 months this October 2026, and continuing onward until 24 months until May 2027. PSA has been <.01 the entire time since starting and continuing ADT.

Let me encourage you by saying though you and I have ourselves in stage 4 prostate cancer here's what I have done and works. Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, prayer and fasting. This is what is healing me. I did not let them seed me thru any biopsy, to make parasites spread. Tumors are the best thing that your body can assemble; to encapsulate parasites and keep them from spreading. Ivermectin killed them. Fasting ate all of the dead cells within me. Of course doctors are reluctant to prescribe Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, and Mebendazole because they are a antiviral drug. But repurposed drugs have their place and if they are only offering you the expensive conventional treatment it's because that's what they were taught and the pharmaceutical companies don't make money on a $1 a pill cure. I did say cure. I am living proof. Want more info just let me know.

I was stage IVA, with a PSA of 6, in October 2025. My brother and I, who also has prostate cancer have the same urologist and oncologist. I went through 5 1/2 weeks of radiation and now two years of ADT.
