10 days agoI'm currently taking Erleada (apalutamide) plus tamsulosin for my prostate cancer. My doctor explained that Erleada works by blocking testosterone from fueling cancer cell growth, while tamsulosin helps with urinary symptoms. I've been told both medications can cause dizziness or blood pressure changes, so I'm being careful about getting up slowly from sitting or lying down. I'd love to hear from others who have been on a similar treatment plan and learn about your experiences. • What has your day-to-day been like on this combination, and what helped you manage any side effects? • What do you wish you had known when you first started this treatment?

10 days agoManaging side effects from these medications can definitely require some adjustment, and it sounds like you're already taking smart precautions with position changes. Many community members have found that staying well-hydrated, timing medications consistently, and keeping a symptom diary can help identify patterns and triggers. The experiences shared here often highlight how side effects can vary greatly between individuals, so connecting with others on similar treatment plans can provide valuable practical insights. Your proactive approach to learning from others' experiences shows great self-advocacy during this challenging time.
