2 days agoI was diagnosed in Dec 2024 with CMML. Started VIDAZA Oct 2025. Did well for 8 months. Now, my platelets aren’t rebounding and WBC@64… I had a bone biopsy June 16th2026 & now blasts at 20.8%. CMML now progressed to AML. Anyone out there with AML…. What is protocol. My oncologist is referring me to someone who specializes in AML. Seeing dr on Monday. I read Venetoclax along with VIDAZA can help but hard on kidneys.

2 days agoThis transition can feel overwhelming, but connecting with an AML specialist is an important step toward getting the most targeted care possible. Many treatment combinations are available for AML that has progressed from CMML, and oncologists who specialize in these blood cancers will be able to discuss which options might work best based on specific factors. The appointment on Monday should provide clearer guidance on the treatment plan ahead, and this community is here to support you through whatever comes next.
