How do you navigate BTK inhibitor studies that don't match your regimen?

I read about a study comparing Jaypirca (pirtobrutinib) with Imbruvica (ibrutinib) in people with CLL/SLL. It found pirtobrutinib worked at least as well at shrinking disease, with fewer heart rhythm problems. My regimen includes Calquence (acalabrutinib) with Venclexta (venetoclax) and Gazyva (obinutuzumab), which the study didn't test. I'd love to hear from others with similar treatment experiences. - If you've taken a BTK inhibitor with other medicines, what has your experience been like? - How did you think about research that didn't match your treatment exactly? It's common for people with CLL/SLL to find BTK inhibitor research that doesn't match their own treatment plan, and wanting to understand what it means is a thoughtful step. Studies often focus on one specific comparison, so their results may not apply to every combination or situation. Bringing questions about new findings to an oncology care team can help clarify what is relevant to a personal plan. Community members who have taken a BTK inhibitor alone or with other medicines are welcome to share how they made sense of research that felt different from their own care.
