I was diagnosed with CML in December 2024. I started Dasatinib 100mg 16 months ago. I have bloodwork every 3 months which is sent to a specialized lab. The medication quickly brought down my white blood cell levels down. When I started the medication the medication my white blood cells counts were 12 times above normal by the time my prior authorization was approved. My main side effect is loss of appetite and occasional nausea. I hope this helps you.
