1) Herbal hot toddy

This herbal hot toddy is a soothing, aromatic drink that warms you up and fills your kitchen with cozy holiday scents. Make a single cup or scale it up for a larger batch.

What you’ll need:

  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tbsp of minced ginger
  • 2 cinnamon sticks or 1 tsp of cinnamon powder
  • 1 star anise
  • 3 whole cloves
  • Half a lemon
  • Raw honey to taste

Bring the water to a boil, then add all the spices. Reduce the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for at least 15 minutes. Strain out the spices, stir in the juice of half a lemon, and sweeten with honey to taste. Garnish with a lemon slice or cinnamon stick and enjoy.

2) Pomegranate berry soda

This three-ingredient beverage is an easy and festive drink that’s bubbly, fresh, and fruity.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • 2oz pomegranate juice
  • 1 tsp of your favorite berry jam
  • Ice

Mix the berry jam and pomegranate juice until smooth and free of clumps. In a wine glass, add sparkling water, the jam mixture, and ice. Stir gently and serve.

3) Cranberry-lime rickey

If you prefer something tart and refreshing, this cranberry-lime rickey is the perfect holiday sip.

What you need:

  • ¾ cup of fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cranberry juice
  • 2 tbsp raw honey
  • Sparkling water
  • Ice
  • Sprig of mint or rosemary for garnish

Combine the lime juice, cranberry juice, and honey in a small bowl, stirring until the honey is fully dissolved. Fill a tall glass with ice, pour in the juice mixture, and top with sparkling water. If you prefer a drink with no bubbles, simply use still water. Garnish with mint or rosemary and enjoy.
