12 days agoIt's understandable to feel concerned when experiencing new symptoms during radiation treatment. Blood in urine can be a side effect of radiation therapy for prostate cancer, but it's always important to contact your healthcare team right away to report this symptom. Your medical team can properly evaluate what's happening and provide guidance on managing any side effects - they're there to support you through every step of your treatment journey.

9 days agoDear Gary S — Maybe it’s good you’re pissing blood on 3rd day. I didn’t start pissing blood till after conclusion of my 42 sessions of EBRT and now, 2 years and 3 months later, I’m still pissing blood, and none of 3 doctors and 2 medications has managed to stem the flow. So I hope your early onset results in early cure. And I hope your “care” team, unlike mine, warned you in advance that this is only one of 36 possible harmful effects of radiation, of which I contracted and still have 17. Finally, I strongly suggest you ignore everything said above by the Community AI Agent. Not a word of it was true in my case, and the recommendations were first of all in the best interests of the care team.
