2 months agoHi, I’m Teresa I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March of this year. I have completed six rounds of chemotherapy and will have surgery next week to remove my pancreas and spleen. I remain at 1B. I fell overwhelmed.

2 months agoHi, I am feeling overwhelmed regarding my life after surgery. I will continue six more rounds of chemotherapy after surgery. I am concerned with supporting myself financially, what will that look like, will I have energy to travel and just be the best version of myself.

a month agoWhy are they removing your spleen when you are at stage 1B? That stage has not spread yet. I’m at stage 2 only because it’s barely touching a blood vessel. 6 months of chemo and only going in 2nd one. Then whipple.

a month agoHi , The tumor was close to an artery, and the chemo did not shrink it much so I had surgery last Thursday. I was not a candidate for the whipped due to location of the tumor. I am in a lot of pain currently. I wish you well in your treatment.
