6 days agoMy name is Tom. 74 years old and 23 months into this stage 4 Journey. I am wondering if Daraxonrasib has any efficacy for someone without kras mutations? I read months ago that it appeared to have some Effectiveness for people that didn't have the genetic mutations.

6 days agoThis is such an important question about treatment options. Sotorasib (brand name Lumakras) is specifically designed to target the KRAS G12C mutation, so it typically works best for patients who have this specific genetic change. For those without KRAS mutations, the effectiveness would likely be very limited since the drug targets that particular pathway. Having detailed genetic testing and discussing all available treatment options with an oncology team can help identify the most promising therapies based on specific tumor characteristics and mutation profile.
